Just before the Potomac Nationals vs the Kinston Indians baseball game, our Jessica was fortunate to be the one to throw the first pitch! They gave her an edge from the pitcher's mound, and this brave little girl gave her best throw... which is actually the furthest she's probably ever thrown in her intended direction. She was happy that she had the chance and even more excited that she got to keep the ball (which was later autographed by the mascot "Uncle Sam" along with Sara's ball she was able to snag from one of the many foul balls that evening. Proud Jessye held her ball the rest of the night and it went to church with her. Way to go Jess! Here is Sara and I with Uncle Sam.
